GeriCentric Care

GeriCentric Care at Hebrew Health Care is very easy to define: it means that the people we serve are at the center of every decision we make. Their care and needs are our priority. From broad policies to small gestures.

• When an administrative staff member in our Medical suite routinely fixes glasses for residents, that is GeriCentric Care.
• When a Nurse's Aide doesn't just leave a piece of mail in a resident's room, but puts it in her hand and offers to help open it when she is struggling with the envelope, that is GeriCentric Care.
• When a Home Health Aide takes time to look at the new pictures of a client's grandchildren, that is GeriCentric Care. GeriCentric Care is about the highest quality nursing and medical care, but it is also about much more than that.
